   Drilling Holes for Anchors/Dowels on the spillway to tie in the new concreter.

“I was at the Reservoir yesterday and was really impressed with Optima DS Ltd, the drilling subcontractor. They have designed and fabricated a frame to drill approximately 600 no 135mm dia anchor dowels to construct the new spillway which virtually eliminates HAVS. Allowing the drill to operate steadily without guidance by hand or individual pressure (which varies person to person) being administered. It’s noteworthy too that the operator was very engaging, and his conduct was superb. They represent us very positively''

 To cut out a slot from the existing chamber wall to provide access for the new mixing chamber .

 “In the reservoir teams we use Optima DS. The owner used has 25 years experience and setup on his own following redundancy in Covid 19 and brought a few operatives with him. No fuss contractor. On our framework. Polite and professional operatives. Will always help and work with us to achieve our goals. I feel you get a more personal touch because they are a smaller contractor. Will visit site to give advice. They are up you to speed with H&S and environmental paperwork and implementing control measures”
